Page ,not found in dashboard, active as url.

    I am using a theme from ithemes and created several pages internally so that I could link to these pages from the bottom middle sidebar located on the homepage.
    However, the first page I want to link to does not appear to be present on the dashboard.e.g. websitename/woks. What i see when I go to edit pages is something like woks-2, woks-3, etc in the permalinks. When I try to edit the permalink to just woks it reverts back to these second and third versions.
    However, when I enter the address websitename/woks the page still appears. But, this page does not appear in the dashboard and so I cannot edit it. It also does not appear in the trash and so I cannot restore it.
    Has anyone any idea to what is going wrong and how I can rectify it?

    It sounds like you have a number of pages with the same title. A link to your site might help to clarify the situation.
