    I'm going MAD!

I've done everything right..watched a zillion tutorials to see where I may be going wrong, but I'm not.

I've followed every step of the install to the T, but when I try to do the last step and go to the wp-admin/install.php part to finish installing, I just get a Page Not Found error.

My website is http://www.amberbella.com and I'm typing:

    http://www.amberbella.com/wp-admin/install.php

into the browser and it's getting me nothing...any ideas where I can go from here?

I've added other databases via MySQL and gotten them to work fine...I'm clueless here. I use PowWeb as my hosting site.

Where did you upload the WordPress files to in your domain?

You uploaded all of the WP files into the same folder as your current site? That might not have been your best idea today. It might be better to re-upload the files into a sub-folder.

yes, I know...this is the problem. How do I get it there? I've followed everything as closely as possible...and it's not working.

Got it fixed....moved the file from under the root directory to under one of my website pages and it worked.

I think you need to re-check what you uploaded and where. Initially you said that you had uploaded WP to your root amberbella.com domain. Then said it was uploaded to amberbella.com/amberbellablog.

If your hosting package provides you with a sub-folder for each domain, then you either need to register a new domain and point it at the amberbellablog folder. Or you need to install WP in a sub-folder inside the amberbella.com folder.
