   I use ads on my site and some(like adsense) offer the ability to display an alternate ad. They want you to do it in the form of an .html file though. Putting the alt ad code in the file then then the ad network will display an alt ad by loading an iframe of the file you linked to.

   When i do this, i get a 404 error, with the 404 page loading in the frame, instead of the alt ad(example: ad.html)

   Are you using the full URL (including the http part) to this ad page?

   Yes. Hope to find a solution to this, otherwise, i'm loosing potential revenue.

   I've done this with Adsense and it works fine with my WordPress. My alt ad html pages are in my site root and my WordPress is in a directory.

   Can you load your alt ads pages directly in your browser, or do these 404 too?
