I believe after the last update (as I made no other changes) the player bio page is returning page not found. I did upload all template pages to my themes folder. The roster page itself displays properly.

    Any suggestions?

Assuming you have copied single_player.php and content_single_player.php to your theme's main directory, what theme are you using? The plugin relies on the 'standard' wordpress template hierarchy being honored by your theme, and that 'standard' template hierarchy does evolve.

For more info, http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Hierarchy covers the basics while http://wp.tutsplus.com/articles/wordpress-cheat-sheets-template-heirarchy-map/ and http://wp.tutsplus.com/articles/wordpress-cheat-sheets-theme-anatomy-model/ dig a bit deeper.

I would also clear my browser's cache. I've seen some strange behavior upon occasion.

You can see it working at http://shoalsummitsolutions.us/dev/test-roster-plugin/ if that helps. And, btw, the "gallery" view is also there, it works the same way in that the template hierarchy has to be working for it to work.

Good luck. Let me know if I can help further.

Thanks for the help. Oddly, by simply changing the permalinks settings and resetting it works as it should. I'm guessing its an issue with the theme.

Also, to view as a gallery (in mimicking your site), I'm assuming to use

    teams/team-name/
to view the gallery? When I attempt this, I am given an archive page. This is both in my current theme and testing with Twenty-Ten.

    Thanks.

Yes, that's correct. Well done! Sometimes the permalinks need to be reset and the way to accomplish that is to change them, then change them back. I don't fully understand what's going on with that, but I've had to do it with other plugins and I 'rediscovered' it when working with another user of Team Rosters. (Sorry I forgot to update this thread.) I'm adding this to the FAQ for the next release.

"The Gallery"? Does anything in the documentation say anything about "a gallery"? (jk! :-) ) You need the taxonomy-teams.php template, and that will be in the next release. Then you are correct, the link will be:

    teams\team-slug

(not the team's name but the team's slug)

I hope to have the next release (1.1) out this weekend, maybe even tomorrow (Friday). I was slowed down a bit by the release of WP 3.5. I'm testing all my plugins on it, so that testing will determine the actual date.

Hello Mark you have created a great app! I have a question. Now I am in the business of business coaching and that it would me cool to have my partners who are business coaches take athlete like photos. The issue I am having is I'd like to delete unnecessary fields light weight, age, etc. and other things that don't pertain to business coaching as much. What is the easiest thing I could do to alter this?

    Thanks,

    Michael V.

    Hi mvalentine2-
This plugin is fairly 'special purpose' for sports teams. You would have to make substantial changes to the code to accomplish this. I suggest you consider some sort of a gallery plugin; that would most likely be a lot easier.
    Good luck.
