Page loads slow

    I have a page dedicated to this plugin, so only thing that shows is the RSS feeds. I have 10 feeds pulling in through the SP feeds, and I noticed that this one page loads very slow, maybe in ~20 seconds or so. Any reason why this would be? Could it be one feed in particular that is slowing the load, or too many feeds, or anything else? Other than that, the SP plugin is pretty awesome.

    Hi David,
    it could be that one of the feeds is loading really slowly. Do you have caching enabled?

    Should I adjust the cache expiration time?

    It could possibly be a feed that is loading slow. I have removed a few just to see but that didn’t change anything (unless it’s one of the feeds left that I haven’t removed). Is there a better way to test which feeds load slow? I’ve tested in the browser each URL and they seem to be okay at first glance.

    Hi David, can you post the feed url’s so I can try them out also? This issue of per feed timing would make for a good feature. I will put it on the feature list to do shortly. I think a feature like this would help lots of folks. I will be unable to look at the feeds for a few days, but I will check them out and report my results. Your report of slow feed loading is the first to be posted, so I am interested in figuring out the root cause.
