Page Loading Problems???

Hi There,

I have two fairly quick questions. My first question is why does my page load the content to the right first? I know it’s about the positioning but if anyone could pinpoint me to the exact problem and help me solve it that’d be great!

My second question is how do i make my website have cross-browser compatibility? I made my site based in Safari and it works perfectly in Google Chrome and the latest version of firefox, however with previous versions of firefox it’s really messed up and in Internet Explorer it’s displaying the pages completely wrong!
