Page isn’t redirecting properly

    I have had a wp site up and running for about 6 months now and suddenly the page isn’t working anymore on firefox, safari or IE. I’m getting an error message in FF reading ‘Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.’ It’s said this for about 3 days now.

    I tried logging into my dashboard and my password didn’t work. If I tried hitting the link back to my page it would display the same page error message as before.

    I’m not sure where to start with this one? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

    Take a look at your .htaccess and see if there’s anything unusual. Or try renaming it temporarily to see if that helps.

    Getting same issue? Any one know it’s cause?

    If you can login your backend – perhaps try the forget password and reset it, go in your settings and save the general and permalinks again. I had the same issue yesterday and the problem was with the htaccess file.
