• I have been reading through threads, but nothing seems to be working.

I have a blog hosted through GoDaddy on a subdomain of the main html site. This has been up and running for well over a year.

When I try to log into the admin, the dashboard tabs at the top will be visible, but you can’t use them to get into the actual dashboard to do anything.

The blog page is still available.

I cleared caches and history. I changed the plug-in folder names. I went into WordPress to make sure that it was updated (it was).

Any other thoughts on this? It’s strange how when I click on of those dashboard links at the top, that it looks as though it is going to go into the dashboard, but it doesn’t.

    The site is:
    http://pellet.gaiadreaming.org

    Thanks for your help!

  • Try resetting permalinks to default and see if it solves the problem. If not deactivate all plugins and revert to Twenty Eleven Theme and try again.

If I can’t get to the dashboard, then how do I do this?

    Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
