Page Height (3 posts)

I am in the middle of overhauling and redesigning my blog.

Using tables, I know how to make the page always touch the top and bottom of the browser, regardless of browser height or page content. I am trying to achieve this in CSS without tables. Please look at this page, which is based on the Blix theme:

Even though there is no content on the page other than the heading, I would like to know if there is a way to have the footer touch the bottom of the browser. No matter what the resolution of the user, I want to ensure that the page always goes all the way from top to bottom, regardless of content. If anyone can help me or give me suggestions, or point me to a link, I'd appreciate it.

    Love,

    Paul

Well, min-height is supposed to do that, but it doesn't work in IE (oh, what a surprise! *cough*)

    Some info and links here:

    Two solutions:

and the one I ended up using(because it worked easiest for me-- in all but IEMac):

Just set the height for #container to 100%.
