When I paste the HTML code from my old website into my word press site it really screws it up. The formatting is way off. Even when I uses front page WYSIWYG JUST to see the look I want when I paste the HTML in WordPress HTML area the format is gone once again.

My website is a wordpress website not a "blog" so this is important.

So is there a way to deal with this formatting issue?

    Thanks

I have periodically run into a similar issue. I have resolved it by pasting the html and posting, not clicking the tab for WYSIWYG. Kinda sucks, but it worked. I hope that helps.

Can't give the site url because I have taken the UGLY formatted page wordpress created and replaced it with what I had previously before thrying to clen the page up. I can give you the HTML and u can try to paste it in yours to see if it does it for you. I dunno...

    1) Paste your html code to notepad and then paste it to the html editor
    2) Paste the original contents on your site (not the html) in MS Word and use this method:

O hope one of the above method will help you
