  • 2 things, that error page doesnt tell us anything, unfortunately. you’re going to need to provide more info than that.

Load one of the pages without trying to use pretty permalinks, and see what happens:

    http://www.caledoniapipers.co.uk/blog/?page_id=N

where N is one of the page_ids.

secondly, this forum doesnt allow signatures.

    Hey Jock,

Could you give me a few more details like whether you or your host provider installed WordPress? I don’t know who you buy your site space from, but that host is who you should contact for tech help first, because it could be something wrong on their end. If they say nothing is wrong on their end, then it could be permissions aren’t set properly, or what.

You seem to be having a problem similar to mart29 in another post where he has encountered an internal server error. So try your host’s tech support first.

    thanks whooami and flashpal,

I forgot to say that it was working after it was initially set up by my host (Supanames). It stopped working when I tried to change the file “header.php” I played about with that for a while and got that back to how it should have been but still to no avail. I ended up putting the original files that I backed up, back onto server again, but still not working.

I’ve tried deleting all the pages and putting them back up again, but still doesn’t work. I’ve sent a message to my host to see if they can help.

HOpefully get it back on soon as I am really looking forward to using wordpress…

    Thanks again.
