Page editors cannot add new pages (4 posts)

Is this my misunderstanding of how this plugin should work? I have a user defined as an Author through the WordPress admin, but I want that user to be able to edit certain pages and create new pages. Through role scoper, I have the user set as a Page Editor on the pages I want them to edit and that works. Then I have them set as a Page Editor in the DEFAULTS for new Pages: block. They cannot create new pages. I have also tried making them a Page Associate on the parent page so that they could create child pages, but that doesn't work either. Both times, the publish button is enabled, but when I try to publish, I get the message that I don't have access to the page.

Do I need something else to do what I am trying to do?

    Thanks,
    Anya

Sorry about that. I suspect version 1.3.60 will correct your editing access error.

I just updated. Is it possible something broke? I have a test site where I have a page author that I made a page editor for one page, and a page editor for new pages. Now when they try to edit their page, they do not see any content (I can log in as admin and see the content). They do not have the New option under Pages. This is WP version 3.5.

Make sure your RS Role Definitions (Roles > Options > RS Role Defs) do not show a conflict with WP Role defs.
