• Hey guys I just installed WAMP and WordPress and everything seems fine and I can access the page fine locally. But when I use my ip address and try to access the webpage from a different computer. It looks like it only partially downloads and displays the page.

Here it is locally on the machine I installed my WAMP on.

Am I mistaken in thinking that WAMP+Wordpress is more than just local testing for a wordpress blog?

    Thanks

  • CSS is not loaded on the second machine because you set your site name (in WP settings) to localhost I suppose. Try to set it to your IP instead.
Another good option would be to use one of dynamic DNS services like DynDNS.

    Hey offspring,

Thanks for the reply, but I’m quite noobish so where do I go to set my WP settings again? I already have a Dynamic DNS for my IP.
