Page cutoff in Safari / IE and sidebar gone (8 posts)

Hi, I'm trying to implement a custom theme (based on the Classic Theme) on the following page:

    http://maryeats.com/

Viewed in Safari or IE the first post is cutoff and the sidebar disappears completely. In Firefox it looks fine. And the page was rendering correctly on all browsers until the post was entered. It doesn't have any long links or images that I can see.

I know there are tons of threads already on this issue, but I had trouble finding one for this specific problem. If you can point me in the right direction I would be most appreciative. Thanks!

Well, to say that it looks OK in Firefox (on PC) is a huge over-statement...
Nothing looks OK. You have an empty "box" in the middle of the screen and all the content is shifted to the right, disappearing outside of the screen.

Also, it is good to try to validate it:

Ok, sorry should have clarified, it looks ok on FF on mac. And I validated it last night with only a few errors that I then fixed. Now I'm seeing tons of them. Interesting.

I just took a look at it on FF on a PC and it's displaying correctly. Could you possibly show me a screen shot of what you're talking about? I'm still seeing the problem on IE though. Thanks for your help!

Notice, there is no horizontal scrollbar, the text just disappears.

What version of FF are you using? I fixed the post problem and everything is rendering fine for me now. How about you? I see it fine in FF 5.0 and IE 6.0. Btw the problem was actually in the post itself, some sort of weird formatting.

But now I'm worried about your particular error, I'm still validating and fixing those errors too.
Thanks for the screenshots! They freaked me out, but I'm going to get it fixed.

FF 5.0? Is there something like that?
I use FF 1.0.7 on Win.
