Hello,
Each time I post my long list to http://oxstones.com/stock-lists/ it looks fine and includes all the content. Shortly after, it is truncated and cuts off about halfway down the page, at ETFSilver.
Any thoughts?
Could it be some database/Wordpress limitation?
Should I replace the long list with some simple embed html code?
I was thinking I could have the WordPress page parse the full html document I have in another directory on my site. This full html file is not my page post, and it is automatically updated by an FTP from a local machine crunching numbers. This would help automate changing the page content...
Thanks!
Adam

No. WordPress can store tens of thousands of posts (if not more).

I understand thousands of posts are ok... but could the database be limited in number of characters for a page?
http://oxstones.com/stock-lists/ is very long... but it keeps getting cut off somehow...
it goes all the way down to the footer in IE7 and Firefox3.6;
although with this amount of validation errors, some browsers might have problems:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Foxstones.com%2Fstock-lists%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0
could the database be limited in number of characters for a page?
No. If there are any limitations on page content, then it will be at your hosts' end. Some server security configurations can inadvertently block completely innocent words or phrases - thus cutting posts/pages short. But definitely not WordPress.

I think this error may have been the chair and the keyboard... someone on my team might've messed it up since it hasn't sprung up again. Or maybe they were overlapping posts somehow...
Thanks for the help! I'll mark this resolved for now.

This sounds a lot like the problem I'm having and weeks go by between occurrences. I'd like to hear if this recurs for you.
