  • Drop a copy of your theme’s header.php file into the WordPress pastebin and post the pastebin url here. Perhaps someone will be able to spot the problem and suggest a solution.

    Are you sure that this is the correct file? Only it’s fine – which suggests that one of your plugins might be adding that markup.

    thanks I found the plug-in that was causing the problem and deleted it.

    I have a second issue though. I have downloaded several video embedding plug-ins and up until now they have run smoothly. Recently the two that I have used “Smart Youtube” first then tried “AB Video” and they both do not work in Firefox. They work fine in other browsers, i.e. Chrome and Safari but will not play in Firefox. I have disabled the recent plug-ins I downloaded thinking they might be effecting it. I have also contacted the plug-in creators but they just say it works fine. Have you heard of this problem before? Can you give me any advice?

    Try deactivating your other plugins. There may be a conflict between your video plugin and one of your other plugins.

    i tried deactivating all of them and get the same result…
