Page Category Problem (3 posts)

    Dear all,

I run http://www.FormulaWhat.com with WordPress. Currently, on the left sidebar, all the links under "General" are pages on the site.

I want to make another section called "Races" (in the same font/bg as "General") where I can place more categories as well. The problem is that whenever I try to create another page, it appears under "General". I do not know how to 'separate' my pages into several categories using this formatting.

Apologies if it's a bit of a daft question as I am not terribly good at programming - this website took months and months to set up because I'm quite slow in that department :P Many thanks in advance!

    Look at this:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/wp_list_pages

It tells you how to exclude particular pages from the list of pages.

Pages, practically, don't have categories. Period.
For internal technical reasons they are always under the default post category, but that shouldn't mislead you.

Pages can be put in a hierarchical structure NOT by categories but by parent-child relationship.
