• Hi,

I just ran the P3 Plugin analysis tool and it reported that the slowest plugin on my site is Edit Flow. In fact, Edit Flow appears to be orders of magnitude slower than the other plugins I have running (and I have a lot of them). The only thing that comes close is W3TC.

Has anyone else tried this analysis?

    Thanks!

  • Edit flow is a WP Admin only plugin. Is it actually making a negative impact in your publishing?

I’m not sure how it does the measurement, but it was at the top of our list.

Has anyone else tried this test?

    Ixodie –

What Frederick is saying is that Edit Workflow doesn’t have any forward facing code ( ie. what visitors see ), so your sites load up times to them will not be effected.

So any impact by Edit Workflow would be seen only by administers as they publish posts.

So are you actually seeing anything that is impacting your ability to publish?

That would be more useful to the dev’s to help locate any actual bugs/performance enhancing requests.
