Support » Themes and Templates » Oxygenous theme upload – fatal error website & admin crash

  • I’m in shock and fear I will spend the best part of the next month trying to fix this! If anyone can advise I would be so grateful!? I’m new to wordpress and have no knowledge of HTML.

I created a wordpress website – it was looking okay. Today I uploaded a couple of new themes from the internet: oxygenous, mosipeg, carbonfied, via wp-admin as a zipped file inside wordpress (the way I would load on a template inside wordpress.) I haven’t done anything with my Filezilla Client. Now my website is dead and so is my admin access. They are displaying the following error:

Warning: require(/home/karen10/public_html/wp-content/themes/oxygenous/functions/library.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/karen10/public_html/wp-content/themes/oxygenous/oxygenous/functions.php on line 41

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/karen10/public_html/wp-content/themes/oxygenous/functions/library.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/karen10/public_html/wp-content/themes/oxygenous/oxygenous/functions.php on line 41

Help!? Many thanks in advance. karen

  • ftp to site or use host’s file manager to rename the /oxygenous folder
this will bring up twenty ten theme and let you log in

Samuel – I’m in shock again at such a lightening fast response! Thank you! Apologies for stupid follow up Qs, but do I find and rename the oxygenous folder to twentyten ? And just the folder, not any code inside?

Any chance you could walk me through this click by click? I’ve attempted to change the remote folder oxygenous in FileZilla, but URL appear to now be blank. Poss, I’ve changed the wrong folder (just changed it back to oxygenous)!?
