We test our theme in email on acid and we haven’t noticed this particular issue, but we would certainly like to fix it. Any chance you could send me a version of the email so I can look at the HTML and possibly post a screenshot and indicate where the extra white space is showing up. I just want to make sure that it don’t miss the issue. I don’t really have an eye for design 😉

You can email me at doug at sendpress dot com

Hi doug I sent it direct from the site using the “test” function

about 3/4 down the page there is a page break insert by those Microsoft people ( not a hi opinion but there you go )

now im playing with the template in sendpress directory as you point out in yr knowlege base. I think the issue is the holding table as I broke the editable part into 3 tables
this only happens with outlook gmail is fine
the page break is “Oracle Datenbank 11g” just above the footer “wir Gern …

    on the webpage its fine

the bug is described in the links in my prev post

I spoke with the developers about this and they are aware of the issue. It is mostly related to how Outlook renders email/HTML. We think that we can probably mitigate the problem with it when we release our new template system in the next few weeks. We will try to break up the message into smaller parts and you as the sender will be able to directly customize the HTML to try to prevent that from happening with long messages in Outlook.

Does that make sense? Sometimes translating developers doesn’t result in the most clear message.

It makes total sense – know its MS Outllook NOT Sendpress which is an amazingly useful plugin in free and pro varaiations. I got round it by making my newsletter short – bit of a pain but as most of the userbase is outlook – had to .

thnaks looking forward to new rel 🙂
