Outdoor Sports and Recreation Listings Plugin

I just added a plugin to WordPress.org that I believe will be useful to many WordPress sites. The plugin includes data from several Open Source databases for Recreation locations including Recreation.gov as well as natural features (Water, Hills, Forests and Parks) indexed by the good people at Geonames. It also lets others add their favorite spots.

Its intended to be free to use for any publisher and to provide a great resource for sports fans, families looking to get outdoors and anyone wanting to get off the grid.

I fear that many of the publishers that would value this plugin will not necessarily be the most savvy technical WordPress administrators. So, this is really just a request to the more technical WordPress users out there to help try out the RCR8 plugin and provide feedback, help test compatibility, etc…
