WP Google Analytics
[resolved] Outbound Link Stops Working (5 posts)

I noticed recently that all the outbound links are logged incorrectly. All of the my event labels are logged as followed "http://http://www.twinkledarling.com". Twinkledarling.com is my website.

Any idea why this is happening?

    Thanks in advance.

Was it working properly previously? Does it happen with all posts or just some? Any recent changes you've made?

Yea, it was working fine before. I can't pin point which post or page is affected because the GA report doesn't tell me what page or post the outbound click happens. I deleted some unused plugins, but other than that I didn't make any changes to the blog prior to this happening.

I deleted the WP Google Analytics plug-in and reinstalled it last night, and so far it seems to be working. I don't see anymore ""http://http://www.twinkledarling.com" being logged. Is there any way I can track what page the outbound click happens?

Thanks for responding. Hope you hear back from you.

    Not easily.

It looks like the "Reviews" item in your menu is incorrectly linked to "http://http://www.twinkledarling.com". This is probably the cause of the incorrect reports, and there may be more.

    Hope this helps.

Sorry, that was my fault. You are absolutely right. Thank you so much!
