I thought it best not to piggy-back on:
http://wordpress.org/support/5/17233 since my questions are different. I am using WordPress.1.3-alpha-4 and Kubrick-1.30-rc2.
Does the 'bloginfo('stylesheet_url')' setting exist, yet? If so where is it modified? The several things I had to do to Ryan's Kubrick based theme (http://boren.nu/archives/2004/10/10/kubrick-130-rc2/) are to Manually and Statically enter in the header script to 'out of the box':
require(ABSPATH . 'wp-blog-header.php');
even if all of my scripts reside in the ../blog/ directory.
<link rel="stylesheet" href="<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_url'); ?>" type="text/css" />
<link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css" type="text/css" />
otherwise I had no style sheet, well at least one that worked correctly.
And what's up with the PHP tags in scripts like the footer that are there only to show a comment, like:
<? // Begin Footer ?>
<? // End Footer ?>
<?php /* "Just what do you think you're doing Dave?" */ ?>
The first one leaves the PHP tag open, and the last one is only needed to close the open tag left from using the '//' style comment which comments out the previous 'End Footer' tag. "/* blah, blah, blah */ would be more appropriate or as I do use HTML commenting.
I've cleaned them up in my scripts...but just asking...spank me if I'm being trivial...or petulant.
