Orz’s Better feed not working

Hello everyone, I contacted the writer of the above plugin but I think he is too busy to write back, so I am hoping someone on the forum here can help.

This email was a last resort as I have exhausted my attempts to make the plugin work on my feeds. I have a blog at http://halcyonrealms.com and I have installed your better feed plugin ver 2.1.2 as I want to truncate my feed posts after the <more> tag, but it doesn’t seem to work for me. As you suggested I have checked the few points you listed on your plugin page before contacting you for support.

1)Firstly I have checked my feed on googlereader and the special program that you have written, and the feed posts are showing the full articles even when the plugin is activated and set up.

2)My feed is on feedburner and I have a plugin called feedsmith, I have already resync-ed the feed several times but with no apparent effect.

Perhaps I might have overlooked something simple ? Thank you so very much for your time !
