I've just realized (to my horror) that when I add a post into a series, its tags disappear!
I'm using Simple Tags, if this matters, which I'm sure many people use too.
When creating a new post draft with tags, then adding it to a series and publishing, everything is OK. It only seems to happen when I change published posts.
I've checked things a bit more and realized the tags only disappeared after assignment of posts to series via "Quick Edit".
That's why the draft remained OK, as did some posts I edited fully, but the ones I've "quick edited" have lost their tags.
this should be fixed in latest version of Organize Series.
I didn't see this post right away because it wasn't showing up with my plugin listing. In the future tag posts related to organize series with the tag "organize series" and it should show up fine. I put this here not only for you but also for anyone else who might stumble on this :)
I'm sure I tagged the post as you say, but maybe I should have used quotation marks or a '-'. Anyways, now you know and you've apparently fixed the problem. Yay!
The new Manage Series page is more WordPressy and thus cleaner, but the post editing table now looks quite messy with separate columns for Series and all the SEO fields. It's not all your doing, but boy is it a mess.
