Orders not going through?

Site was working fine. Today, I added eShop Extras, then decided I didn’t need it and un-installed without using it. Now, I cannot put in an order.
I can go through the entire order process and it works fine, but the following happens:
-the purchaser does not get an email
-The order does not show in the eShop dashboard (ie does not go to pending)
-The stock quantity does not change-I get the admin notification email but the link that is typically under details is not there
