Ordering Links by Last name

On my blog I list several external links in categories by the owners name (ei. Stephen King, David Wellington). You can sort by name, but then you getting Wellington before King and that’s just not kosher.

Is there a way to weight the links or pass an alpha tag? Is there a plugin that does that already?
