   Like I said in the title I am using a tweaked Blue Drop theme and can't get the pages to show in the order I want. It defaults to alphabetical. Any Ideas? Also the numbering on the edit page doesn't seem to be working.

   Just upgraded to 2.8.1 hoping it would fix but it didn't.

   Use wp_list_pages('sort_column=menu_order') in sidebar.php

   I found my very simple solution to this. After HOURS.

   In the widgets section. Click the drop down for pages.

   Set the order to "In page order"
