• I have set the basic order of my pages to:

    http://www.shorestone.co.nz

    Vision – 1
    Services – 2
    NZ Projects – 3
    Current Client – 4
    UK Projects – 5
    Contact – 6
    Experience – 7

and it still puts Services last!!!

I’ve tried adding two plugins, which do nothing to change it and even confirm the order I’ve asked WordPress to put the pages in.

Really would love some help with this. I originally wanted Contact last, but had to keep it where it was and add Experience last.

It seems to add any new page I add in the last position, despite how I order it.

  • I think “Vision” will appear first simply because it is your default page displayed at your site address. So, deactivate the plugins and try setting “Vision” as either “0” or “1”, and then order the others with “Services” set as “1” and see whether that might help.

The most hassle-free approach would be to set up a custom menu. Then you can re-order your menu items at will.
