• When I drag and drop to reorder pages in WordPress 3.8, the order is not being saved. After changing the order there seems to be a valid ajax request to update the order, but when I reload the tree view, the old order comes back.

Anyone else experiencing this and know a fix? I have very few plugins and no plugins related to page ordering or custom fields.

  • I have a similar issue in that some pages are moved and the new position is remembered, while other pages are moved and the new position is not remembered.

I try to get around this by moving only one page and then reloading the browser to get an updated tree.

Then I check if the page has actually moved.

Also I find that moving one page up may not work but moving another page down to get the same effect works.

I have had this issue with 3.7 as well btw.

Thanks for the tips. What would be great would be a fix. I really like the plugin but this is a real issue for me. Maybe I can find some time to look into it and submit a patch to the author.

There is a github page for this plugin, so you can do a pull request there. Any help is highly appreciated!

Since a few weeks the CMS Tree does not show new pages.
Possibly these pages are in the tree below pages that have been rearranged. The rearranged pages are not shown by CMS Tree.
De-/reactivating CMS Tree does not help.
Any news on compatibility with WP 3.8.1, 3.8.2 and other plugins that may cause this?

I am having a similar issue. The page order does not save. Users are frustrated. Help!
