Really distressed. I am using twenty twelve. I am a newbie and have just finished by website which I believe should have had a child theme. Today I installed Orbisius child theme and tried to alter the footer by going into the function php where you can change from theme to theme. Here is where I messed. I added new code and it removed what was previously there (silly I now know). I cannot go back into it or leave my homepage (editors view) without an error code appearing. There is no visibility of my website. Can you please help. Any help much appreciated.
My website is below and error message below:

    http://www.tumainitarot.com/
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘<‘ in /home/jacbra18/TumainiTarot.com/wp-content/themes/tumainichild/functions.php on line 7

Can you access the files and folders of your website?

    Hello Andrew,

I am unable to log out. I am unable to leave the homepage. I have removed the main details you use when creating a child theme. Since the child theme is now primary to the parent theme there is nothing.

Sorry so the answer is no I have no access to files or folders. I went onto my host site dreamhost where I thought out of desperation I could delete the Orbisius child theme from there. But I couldn’t.

Could you contact your hosting providers about this access? You don’t exactly need to delete your child theme, just renaming your child theme folder will cause it to deactivate.

    Hello

Im still having the same problem. I tried my host but I assume with time difference and it being bank holiday, I am not getting a response. I have however, gone into my wp-content/plugins and removed the plugin which caused the problem. I then tried to login in to my wp-admin but I still get the error message above. Does it take a while or is there something else I should be doing.

    thanks

Can you change your Child Theme’s folder name from “tumainichild” to “tumainichild-old”?

    Hi

Thanks I have my website back but my twenty twelve theme has disappeared, when I searched via google. What should I do to change it back. All the text is in black and white with nothing else.

That’s odd, are you using a caching plugin?

    WordPress 3.9 running tumainichild theme.

Do I have to reinstall twenty twelve again.

Just want to clarify this was not a bug in Orbisius Child Theme Creator.
    It’s an editing error.

I answered on the plugin’s support forum http://club.orbisius.com/forums/topic/syntax-error-code-has-replaced-my-website/#post-1989

Also in such cases I’ve created orbisius theme fixer which overrides the current theme so you can get access to your site.
