opentraff.cn redirection (3 posts)

This has just started recently. For some reason, going to the /wp-admin/ and using the admin interface, my browser is connecting to opentraff.cn/in.cgi?somethingsomething. somethingsomething being something else, I'm just too slow to catch it. The dashboard itself may sometimes directs the whole page to that domain making the dashboard inaccessible to me. Searching the web it seems like a trojan from the discussions, but I am positive I do not have a trojan on my computer and it happens to every computer I use. Is this being caused by a rogue plugin somehow? I've recently updated the latest versions of some plugins as well. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, it does look like a "rogue plugin". The redirection is caused by a sneaky little JavaScript file (init.js) in your site's root directory, delete that, rename all your plugins' folders, change your FTP passwords and perhaps post a list of plugins that you are using on your blog.

Come back and give us updates.

I've deleted init.js and it seems to be working. Making any changes still gives me a blank page, so I'm re-uploading the WP files.

I've deactivated all plugins and activating them one by one over time to see which plugin may be the culprit. My feeling is Theme Switcher Reloaded since it was the only new plugin.
