• Hi.

I am testing out the plugin as part of a directory site, so I will have many menus for a variety of restaurants, bars, etc as part of it.

It works but from the testing I’ve done so far the OpenMenu CPT seems not to follow the normal template hierarchy.

    See Post_Types#Template_Files

That is, I expect that by creating single-{posttype}.php so single-openmenu.php I can display open menus and also similarly use other templates archives, taxonomies to display menus by cuisine, etc.

Please explain how it works currently to me. I know I can use the shortcodes to include in posts/pages (it works) but I want to play around with template files and see what makes most sense especially since some menus are multiple pages long….

    Thanks for the plugin….
