OpenID Plugin doesn't seem to work (6 posts)

    I just set up a wordpress blog, and I'd like to use OpenID so people can comment without having to create a new account just for my site.

    I installed the wp-openid plugin (version 2.2.1). It added an OpenID section to the settings menu, and a "Your Identity URLs" section to the Users tab, and an OpenID box at the login screen. The settings page says "All Systems Nominal". It also notes that BCMath is installed, but GMP is preferred.

    When I put in my OpenID, I'm redirected to my provider. The provider's logs show that I've authenticated with them, but I just end up at my home page without being logged in.

    Any help getting this straightened out would be appreciated.

    I've got the same redirect to my home page (WP 2.6, WP-OpenID 2.2.2).
    This is due to wordpress/wp-content/plugins/openid/logic.php:619,
    where method_exists() always returns false.
