Open RSS Widget Links in New Window?

    I am working on a project: http://www.kffb.com and have some RSS Feeds setup as sidebar widgets. If you go to the site the “State News” (2nd in the left column) is an RSS Feed. My client wants to have these links open in a new window. I have found some plugins that do the _blank to external links but they only seem to work on posts and pages and not in the sidebar widgets. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can make this work?
