I am puzzled by the “Open End (Essay)” question type.
A blog post on the site mentioned that it would be scored by matching against a group of possible correct answers.
However when I select that question type, there is no place in the form to put answers.
I looked for a setting that might control it, but I could not find one.

    Thanks!

The blog post is regarding the pro version. In free matching is not yet available, but is coming soon.

    Thanks for the speedy response.

Just for clarification, is it coming soon to watu or watu-pro.

It’s coming soon to watu. In watu-pro it’s available since long time.

    Nice, thanks.

I just discovered that javascript is incompatible with watu questions, and they work beautifully without it. Specifically, I use a js snippet to display my email address without displaying its text, which thwarts email-scraper bots. However, this js prevented Watu from
-Displaying exam open-ended question answer text
    -Capturing the open-ended question data

So I’m deciding to go naked with the email and have Watu work ;^)

I share this in case it’s useful to @presunsen or it is puzzling other users of Watu/free/wp

If anyone is interested in the code, I’ll be glad to share, but here’s where I got it:

    Thanks for a great plugin!!!
