• Hi,

I have a user restricted website. And I want only those users who are registered with my website should be able to access the blog on my website. I activated a wordpress blog through my yahoo hosting account and I see the blog folder created in the account. Now if I have blog settings as Users must be registered and logged in to comment , it means my users have to re-register with wordpress to access my blog but I don’t want that. I want users of my website to be able to see my blog directly without having to re-register.

    Thanks,
    Anshuman

  • As admin of your user restricted website, is there any way you could simply take the user data (name, password, etc) from the database of your primary website and enter it in your wordpress database for your users? That way they don’t have to register, they only have to login to your blog to post or comment. Unless of course the list is hundreds of users long. (Which after seeing your site at ://www.getintern.com, it may very well be). Perhaps there is a way to export the user data from that site and import it into WordPress.

Thanks Clayton for the response. I think I got your point. It was really helpful.
