It looks like you have another Gallery Lightbox that is taking over there. If you are using FooBox Pro you should submit a ticket over there: http://fooplugins.com/foobox/support/
I think this looks like Max Galleria that you’re using. Try looking into their settings for how to disable the lightbox effect, because what is being shown is NOT FooBox.
thanks for getting back to me. As far as galleries/lightboxes and images are concerned I only have jetpack/NGG, Foobox and foogallery plus your plugin- nothing else (I have never used Max Galleria). I’ll look into my theme (weaver ii pro) to see if there is another type of lightbox enabled there- do you think this might be what is causing this. I will also submit a ticket where you suggested.

Yes, it’s definitely NOT FooBox that you see appearing there, and that is why FooGallery and FooThumbnails are not working. I suspect it’s coming from your theme. And yes, submitting a ticket with FooBox would help a lot.

I disabled all other lighboxes from foobox advanced options and I seems that Foothumnail still shows another lightbox…?! I did submit a 2nd ticket with foobox but I am wondering if there is an easier way to select the images for eah gallery in foothumbnail since my galleires are all ready (imported from NGG) – I don’t understand why I only get the option to add images individually and not simply pick he gallery I want?
Am I doing something wrong there?

Did you contact the theme author about disabling the theme’s lightbox? That is what you need to do if you’d like to use FooBox.
After researching my theme it has no lightbox enabeld , I also went to foobox advanced option and checked both “try to deregister other lightbox” and “disable other lighboxes” – I alos instelled the lighboxkiller extension by foo plugins.

I submitted my creds yesterday. I checked all options to de-register other lightboxes, and install the lightbox killer plugin. Foobox is still not working as we can see the lightbox thumbnails album are not loading in Foobox (I also sumbitted a thread within the Foobox thumbnail plugin forum but the answer is that it is not Foobox that is being used…even after de-registering all other lightboxes……I ‘ don’t know what to do as I need to complete this site this week.

Your issue is resolved at the moment. There were several issues causing these conflicts:
1) The custom javascript that was in the JS&CSS field in your FooBox settings was incorrect and was throwing errors. Please refer to the documentation page for the correct method for that: http://docs.fooplugins.com/foobox/hidden-gallery/
2) You had Jetpack’s Carousel module activated. This overrides the default gallery functionality throughout your site. FooThumbnails is incompatible with it. I think I’ll build an alert into the plugin to alert users to that as well as update the description of the plugin here.
3) There is another plugin called HW Image Widget, which is adding additional data attributes to all the images on your site. It has an update available, you should try to update it and see if it fixes the conflict, but if it doesn’t you should reach out to that developer about a fix. If it’s a widget, it should only be changing image markup of images inside that widget, not all images throughout your site.

Some galleries are now working but I’m still having troubles with two of them.

Everything is set up the same, image linked to media files…etc so I m having troubles figuring out why some work and why some don’t ??? I’m at lost with what to do next to solve this…
One of the galierry that was working (alwane 2013) was missing images, I added the missing images and now I have 3 galleries out of 5 that don’t work…. I ‘m really at lost here, why do some work and other not despite using the same settings??? Could you please point me in the right direction as I need to complete this page asap.
The “Conférence dansée Maroc” gallery is not pointing to an actual gallery. Inside the hidden div are just a list of images. I would suggest you edit that gallery, delete everything inside the editor, and insert the gallery again and make sure it’s a GALLERY and not a list of images.
I’m getting there but after restarting all galleries from scratch I still have the last two (alwane 2013 & 2014) that won’t open…. altough they are setup the same way as the working ones….
