    Hello,

After the huge failure of "Better WordPress Security" update to "iThemes Security" I decided to try your security plugin. It seemed to work fine unless my colleague could not log in. After 2 attempts she was blocked, though I had set to 5 attempts in the plugin settings. Also, we notice that even other people cannot log in though we just created a new username and password. It's as if only the IP of the main admin / website creator could log in. If we disable your plugin, then my colleague can log in but not the developers at ManageWP.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best regards,
    Florence.

Hi Florence, please read the following URL to properly deactivate the plugin.

Once you have deactivated the plugin and all users including managewp can access your website admin panel then read through the following tutorials.

Let us know if the above helps you.

    Kind regards

    Hi Florence,
Are you referring solely to the login lockdown feature?
Did you by any chance also activate the whitelist feature?
Do you have any entries in the blacklist too?

    Hi wpsolutions,

I thought the issue was coming from the login lockdown feature but I disabled this feature and it was not fixing the issue. The whitelist feature is not activated in the settings but I added my colleagues IP's inside...without any success. In fact, I'm the only one who can log in.

    Best regards,
    Florence.

"In fact, I'm the only one who can log in." → When your plugin is activated. Else, if I disactivate it, everything works fine.

I need to know if you can bring support or if we have to remove your plugin from all of our sites?

    Best regards,
    Florence.

    Hi Florence,
I just re-read your first entry and I saw that you mention "ManageWP".
I think this is the issue.

If your colleagues try to log in directly using the URL of login page you should find that they are able to log in.

Since I'm not familiar with "ManageWP" I'm not 100% sure what it is doing when it tries to login so I can't tell you why the login's are failing.

    Hi,

No. I have no problem to log in through ManageWP but my colleagues cannot log in directly. On top of that, we have disabled ManageWP on all of these sites.

    Best regards,
    Florence.

    To sum up:

    - I can log in directly through the modified log in URL that I have set on your plugin settings

    - My colleagues cannot. They are Administrators too and they use different IP's.

    - When we disable your login, everything works properly. Here are the only plugins we're using on these sites: http://i.imgur.com/uFBlCNU.jpg

To my opinion, unless you had already faced this issue, you won't be able to fix it if I don't provide you an Admin access. Can I contact you through the contact form on http://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/ ?

    Best regards,
    Florence.

"- When we disable your login" → I was meaning when we disable your PLUGIN.
