   I've been adding content and putting them in categories as I write, everything looks fine on the main page:
   http://kidstravels.info/

   but if you try to click on any of the links that should take you to an existing page (you can see it live on the main page), it takes you to a 404 Not Found error

   For example, http://kidstravels.info/2010/09/near-blackpool/

   Any help on how to fix this problem greatly appreciated!

   Have you checked your Permalinks settings?

   It looks like WordPress is generating the links, and if you insert index.php in a link (such as http://kidstravels.info/?index.php/2010/08/welcome/), it works.

   I suspect that the .htaccess file isn't being updated. It might have the wrong permissions for WordPress to update it - if that's the case, you should be shown what you need to add to the file on the Permalinks settings page.

   Great, changing the permalinks setting back to the default has fixed all the link issues, thanks

   It changed as a result of upgrading to wp version 3.2.1. Not sure why it went off of "default" in the first place...anyway, thanks again.
