only home page has error 404

    When I was editing my wordpress page, I went to check my site, I refreshed it and went onto the homepage and there was a 404 error, the other pages work fine but the hompage has a error, I dont know what I did to cause it, the only thing I did before the error is I installed a plugin but a deactivated it and tried but it sill didn’t work.
    Any suggestion?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    I found the problem, I think it was because I didn’t specify a home page.
    I now have another problem, when I create a page called Reviews it doesn’t show up in the nav bar but when I create a page called Contact it shows up any suggestions thanks
