I really need to only allow image files to be uploaded using the inline uploader. I want to exclude all other file types. Anyone know how to do this? Why the heck isn't it easier to do?

So editing the wp-includes/functions.php file does have an effect, it just doesn't show if you're logged in as an administrator.
