    Hi,

Have the latest version of the plugin and have changed the php file to allow for thumbnails instead of full sized photos but I have a problem where only the first 5 staff members on the list appear

I have tried this with and without the thumbnail php file and get the same results. Wondered if you may have any ideas as to what may be causing this issue?

I'm not sure what could be going on with that. I'm using it on a client's site, completely unedited, and it's displaying 15+ staff members.

Do you have a link where I can see this behavior?

    HI Brett,

Thanks for coming back to me. Here is a link to the page.

There are around 46 people in the staff list. I have also tried using the short code for a group and it is still only displays 5 people.

Would the size of the original photo put any limit on the number displayed? The person who has uploaded them has added huge pictures which is why I have added the thumbnail option.

Hmm...have you tried this with the default TwentyTwelve theme? I suppose there might be something in the theme limiting the amount of posts you can pull in.

Also double check to make sure that each staff member is actually published.

Another thing to check is line 28 in user-view-show-staff-list.php and make sure that it reads:
    $args = array( 'post_type' => 'staff-member', 'posts_per_page' => -1, 'orderby' => 'menu_order', 'post_status' => 'publish' );

    Hi,

I checked that all members are published and that line 28 looks how you have shown it above so it must be theme related. Unfortunately the site uses a theme that seems to work differently to the default themes so I can't switch backwards and forwards easily to test.

We had tried a different staff list previously which did show all of the staff but was a pain in the neck to try and do any maintenance with as it did not allow re-ordering. The only way to reorder seemed to be to delete all the people below the change and add them all again!!

Thanks for your help and keep up the good work on an excellent plugin. I will try the theme developers and see if they can offer any insight in to what might be happening

    Cheers

    Jon

    Hi Jon,
Sorry to hear you're still having trouble.

If you wanted, I understand if you don't, you could set up a user for me on your site and I could log in and check it out. Just to make sure it isn't anything with my plugin.
