After writing journals on the paper for 6 years, I decided to make a website that people can write a journal on their computers, cellphones, and tablets for free.

WordPress and those great plugins made my job so much easier and faster. I like to say thank you to WP team and plugin authors for sharing all your hard works for free.

nice idea and good website but unfortunately you have kept mandatory registration.

Hi satty005, thank you for the comment.In order to make journal private, I had to go with mandatory registration. I would love to take any suggestions for this issue to get around without mandatory registration.

It’s a nice idea, and the site looks very clean and visually appealing.

I am interested on how you are going to deal with the problem of people using it for spam/advertising purposes instead of a journal though.
i.e. if you go to ‘read public journal’ the fourth or so post down is this: http://www.goodnightjournal.com/2013/05/06/split-system-airconditioner-repair-in-melbourne/

If you get too much of that then I think it will put a lot of people off.

While you acknowledge how you were benefited from open source, don’t you feel that you too have to give it back? How about making it open source? Otherwise, it looks like advertising a proprietary item. Don’t you think so?

@ttexperts I modified twenty twelve theme and used about 10 plug-ins but nothing major expect for WP user fronted & my theme login which makes user to post content on front end. let me know if u have any other questions 🙂

@johnpope well that is the biggest issue I’m having right now and don’t really have any good solution for it at this moment any suggestions?
