    He there,
I have 5 sites with my hosting account and wonder if possible to install wordpress in one directory (at the same level as the rest of the sites) and work all sites from there.
I have read at one point one have to choose between subdirectories or subdomains which I understand the concept. But I want to keep my sites organized as they are (each domain under the httpdocs folder).
I would like to avoid using mapping or redirecting or playing with dns'
And the hole intention of this is to have one place to manage the sites and not to install WP on each one of them.
    Ideas/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance
(I'm a newby to WP but have been working with sites for some years now.)

No - you cannot manage multiple installs from a single admin.

Not sure multiple installs is what I want.
I want one wordpress install and manage different sites from there.
