One way to solve problems of uploading image, create folder and network connect

For the beginner of wordpress, It’s easy to encounter following three problems:
1. can not create folder, please check parent folder.
2. can not upload image, or don’t have thumbnail.
3. can not connect the network to get upgrades or new plugins, themes.

I encountered all those problems and waste 4 days to solve them. I tried everything I can get from web but I failed. Finally I got one way to solve them (My system is fedora. It seems ubuntu won’t have so many problems):

1. close SELinux. It is not a safe way (someone says). You can close it temporary or for ever. I chose the second one, do like following: go to /etc/selinux/config and change the only one sentence (in the comments of that file you can find tutorial. It is easy). Then reboot your system.

2. If your wordpress still has problem, don’t worry, try to move your DocumentRoot to home/user/anyname. Of course, you need to change relevant configuration file, see following link:

Please restart your server, I think it would be OK.
