This is weird. I have one visitor to my site who gets the "Error: please type a comment" message every time he submits a comment. He's tried it in both Safari and Firefox on Macintosh, with the same result. No one else is having this problem, and the only way I can replicate it is to leave the comment box blank - which he's not doing.
Something seems to be blocking WordPress from recognizing there's any text in the comment box. Any ideas?

New info: I tried to leave his comments for him, by logging out and using his name, email, etc. I got the same error, using Firefox and Windows! I was able to post them just fine as myself, and then change my contact info to his.
Any thoughts?

I'd rather not post it publicly for various reasons. If you'll give me suggestions what you would look for in the source code or whatever, I'll see what I can find!

I want to check for errors and attempt to sign in. Sorry, can't shoot in the dark. Good luck.

Fixed it! It was a spam plugin issue.
