One post per page

Hi everyone!

i was hoping someone could give me a little push in the right direction. I’ll keep this explanation brief.

I’m trying to build a site with one image post centered on the page. Each post is placed in a category and I want “next” and “previous” links navigate through each category. All posts would be archived and I could change the category of them when i want them visible. (no category = not visible)

That’s it.

I would also love to have a menu for the categories, but I’m sure i can figure that out… so can anyone help me start this? is there a plugin/theme that does this already?
