[resolved] One Page Theme Advice (3 posts)

    hello,

i am developing a responsive one page theme with a portfolio and everything is going smoothly.

i'd like to create a portfolio on it that functions like the one on this theme: http://themes.swiftpsd.com/ability/

but i'd rather use jquery instead of ajax, as that theme's author(s) have done.

i've found a lot of options and am overwhelmed by them all.

    any advice would be appreciated!

    cheers,

    /martin

I'm curious, why not use ajax?

Either way you'll be using .attr and .animate heavily.

I'd start there, give some images static IDs and get the animation down before populating your images dynamically.

i was only focusing on jquery because i've never touched ajax at all yet.

looks like i should give ajax a try.

    thanks andrew!
