I'd appreciate if you guys would take a peek one more time and tell me if you can view everything - the header graphic, menu and text. If anything is screwing up please let me know.
Thanks in advance for your help.

@JustKat: Do not despair about getting your design the way you really want. Even the css guys were a bit overwhelmed last time. If you take one step at a time and give the guys one problem / question at a time it is worth another go. No reason why the look should not *evolve*. From here a fixed bg is only one step. Good luck and Welcome to WordPress.

Here's the amazing part JustKat - it even looks good in IE6 - now that's an achievement :)

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your help and I believe I'm happy enuogh with it for now. Actually, this layout does look better even though it's pretty much just the default template with the header and colors changed. Good enough, I say.
Now to come up with a post...
    Thanks again!

Just a suggestion, instead of setting the cat image in the css header, why not incorporate it in your index. Right now you have:
<h1 id="header"></h1> which essentially means "no linkie" back to the home page. Put <img src="/graphics/flufflogo1.gif" /> in there.

I'm not too worried about that. Pretty much every browser has a 'back' button and most people who read blogs are internet-savvy enough to use that.
And I probably misspelled 'savvy' so just be polite and act as if you didn't notice.
